"This week had a more focused theme for the project. In the first class they started by asking us to interview children and participants in their lives, which includes parents and teachers among others, in order to discover something that can be used as the focus of the project.

It was a very different week, since the task was to interview people, our team started to formulate questions and then we went on the field.

The first difficulty we encountered was in the number of questions posed. They were so many! So we had to cut a few and put others together in order to create a big question that could answer a number of smaller ones.

The second difficulty was found in the interview itself. The team chose to interview the children of a school after classes, however due to the numerous extracurricular activities of the children many parents could not answer our questionnaire because they did not have the time. However, this did not discourage team 5 and we continue to interview several people.

In the end we get to know the children a little more and a little of their intrinsic characteristics. However, we have not reached consensus on the project's theme".

"At first we were introduced formally to the topic and professors team. We knew who were our teammates. We had to interview people at the end of that week, to introduce us the real problems children may have. We went to a school and we interviewed some parents and their children. In my case, it was the first experience of interview people about real problems they may have".

"At the beginning of the second week, the teachers introduced us to the subject and organized us in small teams. It was very exciting to know who my colleagues were. I am very happy with my team.

As a group, our first decision was that we will focus on education. Our first assigned task was to do interviews. To know what questions we would ask and to whom, we did a brainstorm of ideas, this was extremely useful, because allowed us to choose good questions and categorize who would be the interviewees.

We meet at a public school located in a central neighborhood of the city and we interview parents,  teachers and children.

Our next task will be to classify that information and see what we can achieve with it. Here we go!"

Week 2

"The second week of working was an introduction of the topic. We begin by contacting the population with whom we are going to work, through several interviews we obtained important information to detect insights that will help us to find the problem. I consider that this week was crucial to get involved with the topic, to get in touch with the users and to know the current educational reality".

"In this week I learned how to interview and how to design interviews. In the course we learned how to empathize with the user and how to make a conversation where the user tell us their problems and how the feel with them. Also, this weekend I learned how to prepare a 'mate' even I bought my own 'mate' and thermo. I really love UY (everything unless weather)".
