Week 8

So, this week we started working on our prototypes. The teaches tour us through the installation of “The Electrical factory” to know a few options to work on Saki. We choose 3D printing.

Because this method takes a lot of time, and the results aren’t always what we expect, we decided to only print the cutters and the container. Let us pray to the Lord of Light, that the results are ok

Coming soon...

"This week ... I think it was a strange week. The group worked separately, some did it on Monday and others on Friday, this generated a communication failure and things got a bit complicated. On one hand, I feel we lost time, while on the other hand, I feel that we were really productive. But the truth is that I believe that working together is the way to get the best results, I hope we can continue on it. On Friday, despite the amount of hours dedicated to the project, I had a great time, one of the tasks we did was cut the fruit to design the recipes and let me tell you that we had fun as children and fruits looked so appetizing that we ate all. I feel that today we say goodbye convinced that we have a great idea!"

"Trying to define a product isn’t an easy task, define the parts, the internal mechanism, the design... when you think that the task is complete, you arrive to the conclusion that actually there are incomplete aspects or that must be redefined. We were all the class thinking about it and talking with the teachers, receiving feedback and new ideas. Testing and prototypes were two issues that we worked at the end of the week"

This week my parents arrived to Uruguay! We visited many places in Montevideo and Punta del Este. I was a little absent from the group during the week for that reason, but we managed to coordinate everything for the delivery of Monday. Wish us luck!
